Breakin' out the camera phones...Can't wait to get a new digital to replace our defunct one!

Well, these kids have played so much since we moved, they don't know what to do with themselves.
They're used to being couped up in the apartment most of the day.
You know -- coloring, reading, watching Clifford the Big Boring Dog.
Now they run around the big house like a couple of supervillians.
There's also a lot of "outside" here in Perkasie.

Sammy decided to get his hair done.

That hairstyle really suits his personality!

We're thinking about doing karate this summer.

It's not our New Year's resolution, but we think it would be a lot of fun.
Now that our housing situation has changed, Leigh is going to quit working at Macy*s. As a matter of fact, her last day
is Saturday. Now she can get back into Cooking, Art, Mary Kay and Chasing the Kids Around.
We're thinking that karate would help her with all of these things in one way or another.

After I graduate, I'll probably be ready to do something besides stooping over books. I'm already thinking about getting back into weight
lifting during this final semester, but karate (as accurately exhibited above) looks especially therapeutic.

Seriously, both of us did martial arts years ago when we were young. Now that our parent bodies are all rickety and worn out,
we just want to feel somewhat young and limber again. Do all parents feel like this, or are we especially pathetic?

The cat and mole in this picture (click here) remind me of Belinda and Samuel right now when they start laughing at something. They are really funny together. Can you guess which animal reminds us of which child?

Here is the house from the air (at bottom of photo). It is absolutely huge to us, since we've been used to living in apartments for years. It has a gigantic back yard too, which we're not used to either. And this is no fixer-upper -- it's been very well taken care of:

In case you didn't know, our church bought this house. They asked us to move in so that we could be close to church and to help us save money. Super! Our youth pastor's family lives on the other side of the church up the hill. That's nice because Leigh is good friends with Rebecca, and Belinda absolutely loves playing with their daughter Syndey. They've already gotten together for dress-ups several times.

Maybe the thing that impressed is the most is the dishwasher. It's not that it cleans the dishes any better than a normal dishwasher, but it has a "Party" setting. On New Year's Eve all we had to do was push the "Party" button!

A day or so after we moved in it snowed. This is a picture Belinda and I took together looking out her window at the little side yard:

We also have a Wreck Room (not a Rec Room). It houses the toys and kids books, the TV and the computer. The kids love hanging out there a lot:

Unfortunately, our camera died. I don't think I'll be able to put pictures up for a week or so until I can get a new one. Hopefully won't take long.

can't wait to get pictures here

PACKING & MOVING:
How did Trail Mix get all over the floor?
How did Teletubbies get on the TV?
Why did I put all the crib parts in the living room?
Is the mac&cheese burning?
Where is all the packing tape going?
Was that my back?
How long until Dukes of Hazard comes on?

We would love to post a million pictures of Sammy enjoying Christmas. He is unbelievably cuddly and fun --

As the girls in the Princess Dress-up Commercials say, "All of my dreams came true!" Belinda was luxuriating in the beauty of several dress-up combos. This one is just a princess --

This is the ballerina princess --

Take a good look at this toy from Fisher-Price. It's a toddler arcade game. It goes so far beyond annoying that it actually induces a state of frenzy in your children. This makes it very entertaining. What you can't see in this picture is our children trembling and drooling as if they'd had 1 million Smarties. Thank you Uncle David:

For some reason this looks like the Russian alphabet to me. Maybe that's how it ended up at Big Lots --

Here's how to get a bath pillow for a man without compromising his manliness:

The grown-ups' favorite gifts are probably our gift certificates to Hackman's Books (for Jon), Olive Garden, Mirror Images Spa (for Leigh), Macys and JC Penney.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
We're really having a great time, but we're sooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy!
Jon's finishing a final research project for school. That's due Thursday.
We're moving to another town (PERKASIE, PA) on Friday.
Our house is such a mess -- the kids' Christmas toys everywhere,
all around our boxes!
You really don't want the insider's view of our life right now, trust us.
