It's snowing!

We've had a great Christmas weekend, and hope you have too.

Friday, December 24, 2004

Our love goes out to all our nephews, nieces, parents, sisters, brothers, aunts, (I don't think Leigh or I have uncles anymore), grandparents, our church family, our former church family, our seminary friends, Mary Kay and Hatfield associates, neighbors, our family doctors and Leigh's hairdresser, former co-workers, people we know who fall in between these categories somewhere but who we like anyway.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas!

Enjoy the most wonderful Holiday of the year!
from Jon, Leigh, Belinda, and Samuel
What must have been the
music of that night
as the angelic choir
pierced the silence
with resounding brilliance,
raising chord upon chord,
proclaiming Jesus as Lord.

What must have been the
music of that night
as the trembling shepherds
now rejoicing sang
psalms in deep harmonies,
remembering prophecy in melody,
knowing Jesus was their Lord.

What must have been the
music of that night
as Mary the new mother
sang a song in her heart that came out as a lullaby,
finding in each note a thought,
seeing Jesus as her Lord.

- Nichole O. Greene, 2003 - from the body of our Christmas card last year. We always enjoy our original cards from the Greene's! Hope you don't mind me posting it.

Holiday Fun

We made Christmas cookies for friends and neighbors. We had a nice time delivering them (or having people stop by). The nice part was just taking the time to stop and chat. The world moves so fast, but we still ought to take time to hang out with people! Hopefully you enjoy stopping by our site and checking up on us every once in a while.

1st Smile (Very Historic)

Samuel smiled his first smile today -- and here is a picture of it!
He's 6 weeks old and he's starting to understand that we love him. Before that he hadn't made up his mind.

Sammy-Gus' 1st Bathtime

Well, the umbillical remainder (Belinda calls it the raisin) is gone, so we could finally get him REALLY clean! Belinda loves helping too.

Thanks to Grandpop for painting the changing table ($1 at a yardsale on Memorial Day).

No-blog Week

There will be a blackout period of 1 week for all the blogs on this site. It's Jon's exam week, and there's just no time!

Doll Baby

Belinda just started drawing all by herself. I watched in amazement as she drew this doll.

"Doll" by Belinda Henry. Medium: Pencil.
